In this guide:
Project settings are accessible from two (2) areas of Standards.
Project settings are most quickly accessed by selecting a project thumbnail from the Dashboard which navigates to a Project page.
This view is primarily for managing basic information about a project, setting publish and sharing preferences, and monitoring storage. For more information, see Dashboard overview.
Additionally, from the Project page in the Dashboard, selecting the Edit
****button will navigate to the project editor where additional settings can be accessed. Settings in the editor are focused on the design & content of a project, as well as SEO and accessibility. For more information, see Editor overview.
Every project has a few basic properties that can be easily reviewed from the Dashboard.
The project name is the primary identifier for a project. Once a project is published, this name is publicly visible by default as the site title when sharing links. There are several ways to change a project name.
Rename
from the list of options. The project thumbnail is used to visually identify a project within the dashboard. This thumbnail is not publicly visible and only appears within the Dashboard area of Standards. By default, the project thumbnail displays the project Name, but can be customized with an image and background color.
To change a project thumbnail, navigate to the Project page in the dashboard, hover over the thumbnail on the right, and select the icon. Next, use the Edit thumbnail sidebar to upload an image and set a custom color.

The project status shows the published state of a project, and is updated automatically by publishing or editing a project. The different states a project may have are shown below:
⚪ Draft - Not live on the web Only viewable in edit mode by members of the workspace.
🟢 Published - Live on the web, up to date Viewable on the web at the set web address. All edits are up to date and matching the live project.
🟡 Published - Live on the web, changes were made
Viewable on the web but some edits were made that are not reflected on the live project. Selecting Publish changes
in the Publish & share modal will push the changes live and the project status will change to 🟢 Published.
Once a project has been published, the Web address is the link URL through which a project is accessed. For more information, see Publish & share and Connect a custom domain.
Control how a project can be accessed after it has been published live on the web. These settings are defined in the Publish & share menu. For more information, see Publish & share.
Each project has a discrete storage limit that is filled by uploading Files. Different plans have different project storage limits. For more information see Files & Downloads.
Every project has an Owner. This role is always the same as the owner of the Workspace the project is in. Owners and Admins are the only member roles that are permitted to transfer a project. For more information, see Transfer a project and Workspaces.
Projects are defined by their unique design and content. Standards provides extensive professional-grade tools for the design and content management of each project.
Standards provides a comprehensive interface for the design and layout of a project. This area of the app is referred to as the Editor, and can be accessed by selecting the Edit
button from the project page in the dashboard. For more information, see Editor overview.
All projects in standards have their own discrete file repository that can be accessed from the Files tab within the Editor. Members may also upload files directly to a project from the Dashboard by dragging and dropping anywhere inside a project page. Uploaded files count towards each project’s Storage. For more information, see Files & Downloads.
